Karen’s passion has been watercolor painting for nearly two decades. She selects subjects that she believes are extraordinarily beautiful. She is mesmerized by color, movement and light and a strong drive to personally interpret the beauty around her.

Karen expresses her response to the natural world through brush stroke, texture, color, light and composition rather than through control of photographic detail. Her large florals and landscapes have been termed both beautiful and spiritual.
