When Abraham Sheremet humbly created masterpieces for the Romanovs, he might never have imagined that his true gift would be the legacy he passed on a hundred years later to his great grandson, Steve Greenberg. Steve continues to transform that gift in a fourth-generation business that has been a trusted member of the Cleveland-area community since 1949.

The letters I,M,G represents the initials of Steve Greenberg's father, Isadore Moses Greenberg. He brought the skills he learned from his grandfather in diamond setting from his boyhood home in Pittsburgh and established himself in downtown Cleveland only a few years after the end of World War II. His family had already survived a revolution and another world war and emerged at mid-century with some of the finest design work in the Cleveland area. Isadore's mother (Sheremet's daughter), a skilled watchmaker as well, was a living example for her son to provide people with only the best they could offer.

IMG is tucked into a beautifully designed modern building commissioned by the Greenberg's to provide their customers with an intimate setting that allows comfort and convenience. But while the sleek building might be a masterpiece in itself, the real work is the designer jewelry, quietly surrounding the customer in simple yet exquisite cases and illuminated by expertly placed front windows and lighting design. The works of in-house designers rest comfortably beside those of such names as Versace and Cyma; the key designer is Hannah, who is also known under her artist's name, Hanchu.
