Tequila Bay is nestled in Sun Valley, Idaho the pinnacle of ski country. The shop has evolved into an eclectic gallery of mysteries and magic featuring unique home furnishings, gems, estate jewelry and museum quality natural crystals. Extensive travels into the heart of Mexico and an unbridled sense of imagination have produced the largest collection of Oaxacan woodcarvings in the US. Each of these whimsical, enchanting and brilliantly painted carvings is created in the individual style of the artist in one of several small villages near Oaxaca City, Mexico.

The Crystal Gallery at Tequila Bay features an extensive collection of crystals including museum quality crystals from around the world. Quartz represents over 27% of the earths surface, but is only mined in Brazil, Madagascar, and Arkansas. Quartz is “piezo-electric, a term derived from the Greek word meaning ‘to press”. When it is subjected to stress, it develops an electrical charge on the surface. Quartz responds in a “regulated vibratory pattern”, when stimulated electronically or by pressure. Individuals can actually feel the energy from the crystals. This can be explained scientifically by “piezoelectricity”.
