Already used for film and TV program production as well as news gathering, Panasonic's DVX100 series has now evolved further with the AG-DVX100B. The AG-DVX100B debuts as the industry's first DV camera-recorder to allow camera-to-camera time-code synchro and user-settable file transfer. This allows the AG-DVX100B to be used for simultaneous multi-camera recording techniques often used in video production. Additionally the new model offers remote focus and iris control for easier operation when mounted on a jib arm or tripod.

The Black Sapphire AG-DVX100B offers the acclaimed performance and multiple functions of previous high-end DV camera-recorders models. In addition to superior image quality, high sensitivity, 24P/30P Cinema mode and manual operation, it has the specifications needed for full-fledged professional video production including superior Image Rendering with the Leica Dicomar Lens, Plus OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer and 410,000-Pixel, 3CCD Image System that provides F11 Sensitivity for superior image quality.

The Canon XH A1 features a Canon 20X HD zoom lens with Professional L Series Fluorite. Super-Range Optical Image Stabilization corrects for a wide range of camera movement and vibration, and Instant AF (Auto Focus) ensures ultra-quick, accurate focus. The DIGIC DV II HD image processor then ensures improved color reproduction and noise reduction.

The Nikon D300 D-SLR offers 12.3 MP DX format CMOS sensor combined with a fast 6 fps (up to 8 fps with the optional Multi Power Battery Pack). The camera's fast power-up, quick response and outstanding flexibility will meet the needs of a wide variety of photographic assignments. The D300 also features a self-cleaning sensor unit, which vibrates at high frequencies to remove any loose dust on the surface of the sensor's optical low pass filter. The camera has a broad ISO range from 200-3200 plus Lo 1 (the equivalent of ISO 100) and Hi (ISO 6400 equivalent). Image accuracy is also enhanced by the Nikon Scene Recognition System, which uses the Nikon 1005-pixel RGB color sensor modified to recognize subjects' shape and position before the image is captured. This also aids the new 51-Point Autofocus system in tracking subjects, while enhancing the accuracy of exposure and white balance metering. The EXPEED image processing system is at the heart of the D300 to capture and process high definition image data quickly. The system features 14-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion with 16-bit image processing, both contribute to delivering rich accurate colors, smooth skin gradations and exceptional detail.

From the 3" VGA LCD screen with 170° viewing angle, to the HDMI interface for HD ready displays, the D300 is ready for tomorrow's imaging environment. The controls of the D300 were designed for ease of use, with an easy-to-view top LCD panel and an information display on the rear LCD screen that can change color according to the ambient lighting conditions. The intuitive 8-directional multi-area selector makes selecting any of the 51-Point autofocus settings simple.

The Sekonic L-758DR DigitalMaster is a multi-function light meter that can be programmed to match and be calibrated to the sensitivity of your digital camera sensor or type of film for perfect exposure control.
